Ishara Rupasinghe
Executive Director, Senior Strategy Adviser
Ishara Rupasinghe brings over a decade of dedicated service to our firm, joining in 2007 and currently serving as Senior Strategy Adviser and Director based in Canberra. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Ishara has expertise across various strategic financial planning areas including pre- and post-retirement planning, superannuation & SMSFs, tax-effective wealth accumulation, and defined benefit super schemes.
Beyond her role at our firm, Ishara is a respected media commentator, recognised as a personal finance expert on national television, radio, and in print media outlets.
Prior to joining Evans and Partners, Ishara held positions within the Commonwealth Public Service, contributing her skills to the Department of Finance and Deregulation, as well as the Department of Defence. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University. She has also pursued post-graduate studies, earning a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional Australia and achieving the Certified Financial Planner® accreditation from the Financial Planning Association. Additionally, Ishara successfully completed the FASEA Financial Adviser Exam in September 2020, underscoring her commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional integrity and competency in financial planning.

Lucy Pentelow
Strategy Adviser
Lucy is a highly motivated strategy adviser committed to helping clients achieve their financial goals. Starting her career at Evans and Partners in 2020, Lucy brings a fresh perspective and understanding of financial strategies. She offers personalised advice tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Lucy’s specialties include strategic financial advice, pre and post-retirement planning, superannuation and self-managed super funds, tax-effective wealth building, and wealth transfer strategies. She enjoys building personal relationships with her clients and creating tailored strategic plans to help them achieve their financial objectives or improve their financial position.
Lucy holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional Australia.
